Confidence: Aaron Glenn Wants It Known (After 2 Major Trades) That He Never Said Jets Fans Would Be Proud Of This Team 'Right Now'

Every time I think we hit the peak of a great Jets quote, they keep speaking. This time it's Aaron Glenn, who sounds like he just realized that this team sucks. Before the season he had confidence, he was talking about winning. Now he just wants fans to be proud of this team, at some point. Not now, that would be dumb. He knows Jets fans want Woody Johnson to sell the team and they had a near firesale and despite beating the Bengals, they are still awful.

So goddamn funny he's backtracking and saying at some point they'll be proud of this team. It's been decades and I don't know one Jets fan proud of this team. They have nothing to show. They thought they had Sauce Gardner, a cornerstone of the franchise, he's gone. Quinnen Williams? The 3rd overall pick? See ya. Quarterback? Don't even know how to go about finding one of them.

Just a reminder, this is the run the Jets have had this year in terms of speaking:

Just go ahead and add this one to the list. I do think Woody Johnson wins though. I didn't think Breece Hall would get topped, but then Woody Johnson threw Justin Fields under the bus and it's perfect. So don't worry Jets fans, one day you'll have a team to be proud of. No one knows when, just don't tell Aaron Glenn he said you'd be proud right now.
